Flowers are so wonderful - when I close my eyes and smell them I am transported to a magical world, filled with seas of colour. There are so many different kinds of flowers, each and every one beautiful in its own right. Flowers are like magic to me, they can cheer me up when I am feeling low and are one of the most beautiful things on earth, they touch my heart.

Think about the different kinds of flowers and what they can portray. Sunflowers are like the sun and warm my heart, a red rose adds romance to your life. Colourful flowers are one of the most precious gifts on earth. Flowers are joyful, I could hug them tight.

Flowers can represent many things in society today, especially when it comes to religion. One very special Marian image that includes flowers is the statue of Out Lady called Rosa Mystica. This statue has in it three roses, white, red and yellow. The white rose represents prayer, the red rose represents sacrifice and the yellow rose represents penance and conversion.
